• About Shizuoka Hobby Show

The Shizuoka Hobby Show is one of the biggest in Japan: a showcase for a wealth of different products from static models to railroad models, radio-controlled models and more, from many of the top Japanese brands: a great opportunity to catch up on the very latest market trends.
The Show has two trade days (May 8th and 9th) for buyers and trade professionals, a students’ day (May 10th) for children at elementary, junior high and high schools in Shizuoka Prefecture, and two public days on May 11th and 12th, during which members of the general public can enter for free.
Public days will also host the 33rd Modelers’ Club Exhibition, with modeler clubs from Japan, China, South Korea, Taiwan and ASEAN combining to show more than 11,000 of their creations, while for two days the Shizuoka City South Gym will play host to a number of hands-on R/C model events such as races, kit assembly workshops and more, with the support of organizations such as Toyota Motor Corporation.
